When I was travelling in Japan last month, I met up with some new friends in Hiroshima. See, while I was in Osaka…I really wanted to check out a cosplay cafe. Den Den Town near Namba station is said to be filled with plenty of maid cafes and cosplay cafes, but honestly…I saw more maid cafes then anything else. Maids aren’t interesting to me. Cosplay cafe was too expensive (and if there are no male cosplayers…I’m not too interested).

What’s the point of my story? In Hiroshima, I tried cosplay myself! Way cooler. There are puri-kura stations, like at the Taito Game Center, where you can cosplay and then take puri-kura pics. There were a good number of choices, with this character being one of the options. She is a completely computerized singer. Check it out!

PS) I cosplayed as some other male anime character. I forget who =T

NB) Cosplay is dressing up as a character, usually from an anime of some sort. Puri-kura are sticker photos you can take at a photo booth…and then decorate like crazy before it prints out!
